Liberty Porfolio Management System v1.75
Liberty has been designed for companies managing an important number of portfolios: it processes in a practical and optimised way thousands of portfolios, on many workstations. The system offers a centralised information source for the Back-, Mid- and Front-office, including the tracing of the orders, reports and data updates.
Every screen and function has been designed with a person that specializes in that
task, and corresponds therefore to the end-users expectation.
Here a few high-lights about the system's concepts:
- You can group portfolios into clients, themselves grouped into families (Family Office). You can then evaluate, analyse or report at each of those levels.
- More than 110 transaction types are implemented, including the Futures, Forwards and Corporate Actions.
- The Orders Management has been designed to fulfill the 4-eyes princip; all steps of an order can be processed, including cancellation and partial execution.
- The compliance with the fiscal requirements in Germany and Switzerland is included; the system can be easily adapted for other models.
- Liberty is a real-time system: every change is directly available to all users. The system runs 24 hours a day.
- You can generate reports either interactively, or automatically using a batch reporting engine. Using MS Word automation, you can even define your own reports without any development.
And another few ones about more technical aspects:
- Over-night processes can be directly specified in the system: for ex. the constraints (model portfolio) validation with automatic mailing of the results.
- The interface module allows to load all data via text (XML) files, or to export the database contents. SWIFT conversion utilities are integrated.
- The system is a real three-tier application: every function is executed on the server machine, therefore reducing the network trafic and increasing the security.
Of course, the system is multi-language, multi-currencies, and allows the use of many databases.
Liberty v1.20 was the first version commercially available. The list of all important functions can be found here.
